On February 20, China's first ultra-deep scientific exploration well, Well Shendi Tako-1, reached total depth at 10,910 m, making it the deepest vertical well in Asia and the second deepest in the world. This major breakthrough marks China's deep-well drilling technology entering the world's leading ranks and fully demonstrates its scientific and technological strength and innovation capacity in energy.
